Saturday, I was watching CMT's Dukes Insider special (this is Original we're talking, not New and Of Which we Completely Disapprove, omg) and John Schneider took the time to reconfirm how "very very well" Tom W. handles Teen Idol status. He also called himself the "Uncle Jesse character" of Smallville. Which amuses me greatly.

Keira Knightley on Matthew McFayden as Mr. Darcy: "There are very few manly men on th big screen today--we sort of get these pretty, androgynous types. But it's so romantic to have someone the size of a real guy--that's what Matthew is." Careful, Keira. Don't you still have to work with Orli?

Those of you who asked to be kept in the loop on the current color of my toenails (see recent poll): I have just painted them a lovely shade called Rocket, which is dark red. Now, I don't want you to get the wrong idea because ordinarily I'm more of a blue or orange or platinum or even brown kinda girl, but every once in awhile you just have to fall back on a classic.

1. Go to Music Outfitters. http://www.musicoutfitters.com/resources.htm

4. Bold ones you like.
5. Underline your favorite.

Um, an odd thing happened when I started to highlight this list...I kind of like all of these. In that way that if they all came on the radio one after another, I'd totally be dancing and singing along. (I'm very carefully *not* explaining for myself with some of these. *g*) How 'bout I bold the ones I might be inclined to turn off (in that hypothetical radio scenario), instead. And * the ones I don't know, because I have no opinion on those.

*clutches chest* Hungry Like the Wolf? But...and...it's...*shakes head* I was lucky enough to see Savage Garden do it live once and Darren's a guy who knows how to embrace the cheese and turn it into sex.

But dang, you got a good list! I would've had to pick Come on Eileen out of that 100, just because I can't *not* get up and dance to that song (and there are memories. with a boy, naturally).

Sorry, sorry, I just get flashbacks of Duran Duran videos and...I don't know, there's just a disconnect. But if I ever heard a good cover (and, omg, I've heard some bad ones) I might be able to concentrate on the good cheese rather than the bad. Maybe.

Huh, so how can I not have heard Come on Eileen, then? Maybe I have and don't realize it.

I'm sure you would've heard it. I'm humming the melody but that obviously doesn't translate into text too well.
